If your stucco has been painted, then the hot glue will cause peeling and cracking. If the paint chips off, then the glue will come off as well. If you're trying to attach something to stucco, go with an adhesive such as double-sided tape. If the stucco is outdoors, consider using roof clips attached to a shingle, gutter, or eave.
