Let's Rohit's age be x.

According to the given information, x = 1/2 × (mother's age) - 10

⇒ x + 10 = 1/2 × (mother's age)

⇒ Therefore, mother's age = 2 × (x + 10) = 2x + 20.

Also, father's age = mother's age + 5 = 2x + 20 + 5 = 2x + 25.

Given that father's age = 47 years.

Therefore, 2x + 25 = 47

⇒ 2x = 47 - 25 = 22

⇒ x = 22 ÷ 2 = 11.

Hence, Rohit's age is 11 years.
