Given,

Efficiency of 1 man, 1 woman and 1 boy is 5 : 4 : 3.

1 boy alone can complete the work in 20 days

Formula:

Total work = Efficiency × Time Taken

Calculation:

Let, Efficiency of 1 man = 5 units/day

Efficiency of 1 woman = 4 unit/day

Efficiency of 1 boys = 3 unit/day

Total work = 3 × 20 = 60 unit

∴ Altogether can complete the whole work in = 60/(5 + 4 + 3) = 60/12 = 5 days
