Yes, it will work well for single-color tie-dye. An experienced dyer could achieve more colors, but since you must soak the nylon in the liquid rather than squirt the dye on, it can be more challenging. If you only squirt the dye on and do not let it soak properly, then your colors may come out faint and further fade in the first wash.
