Option 5 : All three statements together sufficient to answer

From statement I, II, and III,

Let the distances to be covered from P to Q and Q to R be 3x and 4x respectively.

⇒ Total distance covered = 3x + 4x = 7x

Average speed = (Total distance)/(Total time)

⇒ 7x/7 = 20

⇒ x = 20 km

Now, distance travelled from city P to city Q = 3x = 60 km

Let the time of this journey be ‘t’

⇒ 60/t = 20

⇒ t = 3 hours

Thus, time taken for a journey from city Q to city R = 7 – 3 = 4 hours

Distance travelled in this journey = 4x = 80 km

⇒ Average speed on the journey from city Q to city R = 80/4 = 20 km/hr

∴ Statement I, II and III are together sufficient
