The best way to go about this is to not write such a letter. Everything anyone writes should serve some purpose. If yours is just to spite your ex, then it's best to just put it to rest. If she asked you a question and you must respond, stay polite and brief, and stick to the point; "No thanks, I don't need this," and don't say "No thanks, I don't need this because..."
