The cost of one apple, 1 dozen banana and one orange is Rs 20, Rs 40 and Rs 10 respectively. In the fruit bucket, there are 3 orange, 7 apple and 3 dozen banana and the price of only bucket is Rs 56. What is the price of the fruit bucket? Correct Answer Rs 346

Given:

Cost of one apple = Rs.20

Cost of 1 dozen banana = Rs.40

Cost of one orange = Rs.10

Price of only bucket = Rs.56

Calculation:

As, In the fruit bucket, there are 3 orange, 7 apple and 3 dozen banana

Total cost of 3 orange, 7 apple and 3 dozen banana

⇒ 3 × 10 + 7 × 20 + 3 × 40 = Rs.(30 + 140 + 120) = Rs.290

Total price of fruit bucket = Rs.290 + Rs.56 = Rs.346

∴ The price of fruit bucket is Rs.346.
