Given:

Total number of chocolates are distributed in a class of pupils = 800

Calculation:

Let the number of pupils in a class be x

So, the number of chocolates distributed among each pupils in the class be 2x

According to the question

⇒ x × 2x = 800

⇒ 2x2 = 800

⇒ x2 = (800/2)

⇒ x2 = 400

⇒ x = 20

∴ The number of pupils in the class is 20
