Given:

Length of wall = 4 m

Breadth of wall = 4.5 m

Height of wall = 3.5 m

Cost to paint the wall = Rs. 22 per square meter

Formula:

Area of 4 walls = 2(l + b) × h

Calculation:

We have,

⇒ 2(4 + 4.5) × 3.5

⇒ 2(8.5) × 3.5

⇒ 17 × 3.5

⇒ 59.5

Total cost of paint the wall = Rate × Area

Total cost = 22 × 59.5

Total cost = 1309

∴ Total cost to paint the walls is Rs. 1309.
