Work done by Amit in 1 day is 1/25th of the total work

work done by Punit in 1 day is 1/20th of the total work

According to the problem statement

⇒ 10 × (1/20) + y × (1/25) = 1

⇒ y = 25/2 = 12½

∴ 12½ days are required by Amit to do remaining work
