GIVEN :

Sum of the investment = Rs. 8,40,000

Amount invested by Kartik = 57.14% of 840000

= (4/7) × 840000 = Rs. 4,80,000

Amount invested by Bhumi = 840000 – 480000 = Rs. 3,60,000

Total profit company made in 3 year = 140000 × 3 = Rs. 4,20,000

As we know, ratio of profit is depend on amount of investment and time period.

 

CALCULATION :

Profit of Bhumi = (100 – 57.14)% of 420000 = 42.86% of 420000

= (3/7) × 420000 = Rs. 1,80,000

∴ Amount of Bhumi = 360000 + 180000

= Rs. 5,40,000
