Then

(x + 5) × 30 = (x + 7) × 24

30 x + 150 = 24 x + 168

6 x = 18

x = 3

Therefore, total quantity of oil = (3 + 5) × 30 = 240 litres

Required number of days = 240/3 = 80 days
