Share of the restaurant = x – 0.2x

Cost of discount = 10/100 × x = 0.1x

0.05x to be borne by restaurant

Net pay to restaurant = 0.8x – 0.05x

⇒ 0.75x

Selling price = Cost price × (100 + profit%)/100

⇒ 120 × (100 + 20) /100

⇒ 144

0.75x = 144

x = 144/0.75 = Rs. 192
