Lets assume after X years Sourish's age will be 2.5 times that of his cousin.

According to question,

25 + X = 2.5 ( 7 + X)

25 + X = 17.5 + 2.5 X

1.5 X = 7.5

X = 5 years

So after 5 years Sourish's age will be 2.5 times that of his cousin.
