SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) Cell:
- It can store the information as long as the power is applied.
- Random Access means that in an array of SRAM cells each cell can be real or written in any order.
- The structure consists of 6 transistors to store 1-bit information.
- The main structure is formed by two cross-coupled inverters, where the output of each inverter is fed input to the other inverter as shown:

- WL – Word line
- BL – Bit line
