In this type of time and work question, we assume the total work to be done as the LCM of the number of days taken to each of the persons to complete the work.

Total work = Efficiency × Number of days

Calculation:

Raju can complete 20% of the work in 3 days

∴ Raju can complete whole work in 15 days

Sonu can complete 25% of the work in 5 days

∴ Sonu can complete whole work in 20 days

Pintu can complete 1 / 3rd of the work in 10 days

∴ Pintu can complete the whole work in 30 days.

Suppose, the total work is LCM of (15, 20 and 30) i.e, 60 units.

One day work for Raju = 60 / 15 = 4 units

One day work for Sonu = 60 / 20 = 3 units

One day work for Pintu = 60 / 30 = 2 units

According to question -

Suppose the remaining work is completed Pintu in x days.

⇒ 4× (4 + 3) + 2 × x = 60

⇒ 28 + 2x = 60

⇒ 2x = 60 - 28

⇒ 2x = 32

⇒ x = 32 / 2

⇒ x = 16 days

∴ The remaining work is completed by Pintu in 16 days.
