A and B, working together, can be complete a work in 16 days, C and A together can complete in 32 days, B and C together can complete it in 24 days. They worked together for 12 days. In how many days will C alone complete the remaining work?

A and B, working together, can be complete a work in 16 days, C and A together can complete in 32 days, B and C together can complete it in 24 days. They worked together for 12 days. In how many days will C alone complete the remaining work?  Correct Answer 36

Let the total work be 96.

(Lcm of 16, 32 and 24 is 96)

Efficiency of (A + B) = 6

Efficiency of (B + C) = 4

Efficiency of (C + A) = 3

Efficiency of 2(A + B + C) = 13

Efficiency of (A + B + C) = 6.5

Work of 12 days = 6.5 × 12 = 78

Remaining work = 96 - 78 = 18

Efficiency of C = 6.5 - 6 = 0.5

Days to complete remaining work = 18/0.5 = 36 days
