Given:

Length of train = 1 km

Speed of train = 60 km/hr

Length of tunnel = 1 km

Formula used:

Speed = (Length of train + Length of tunnel)/Time

Calculation:

60 = (1 + 1)/Time

⇒ Time = 1/30 hours

Converting into minutes = (1/30) × 60 = 2 minutes

∴ Train will take 2 minutes to completely come out from tunnel
