Calculation

According to the bar graph,

Quantity of paddy sold in February = 8

And quantity of paddy sold in April = 10

Their difference = 10- 8 = 2

So, 2 quantities on the bar graph implies 6 quintals

∴ 1 quantity on bar graph implies 3 quintals

Total quantity of paddy sold in January and March = 5 + 3 = 8

8 quantities on bar graph implies (3 × 8 = 24) quintals

So, the total quantity of paddy sold in January and March in quintals = 24
