Calculation:

Let the number of chocolate be x

The number of chocolate given to the parents = 2x/7

The number of chocolate given to the children = 3x/7

The number of chocolate left with the distributor = 10

Now, A/Q

2x/7 + 3x/7 + 10 = x

⇒ 5x/7 + 10 = x 

⇒ x - (5x/7) = 10

⇒ 2x/7 = 10

⇒ x = 35

Number of chocolate distributed in the society = 35 - 10 = 25

∴ The number of chocolate distributed by the distributor in the society is 25
