In a class of 130 students, 40 of the students studied both Physics and Chemistry. 75 students studied chemistry. If 30 of them studied neither physics nor chemistry. Then, how many students studied Physics?
In a class of 130 students, 40 of the students studied both Physics and Chemistry. 75 students studied chemistry. If 30 of them studied neither physics nor chemistry. Then, how many students studied Physics? Correct Answer 65

Suppose the total number of student who studied only Physics is x.
⇒ 35 + 40 + x + 30 = 130
⇒ 105 + x = 130
⇒ x = 130 - 105
⇒ x = 25
∴ Number of students who studies physics = 25 + 40 = 65
