Given:

Total number of female students = 3600

Female students is S1 = 12%

Female students is S4 = 24%

Calculation:

According to the question 

The difference between number of female students in S1 and S4 = S4 - S1

⇒ 24% - 12% = 12% 

Total female students = 3600

⇒ 100% → 3600

⇒ 1% → 36

⇒ 12% → 12 × 36 = 432

∴ The difference between number of female students in subject S1 and S4 is 432
