The average = (The total sum of all items)/(The total number of items)

The gain marks percentage = {(The again marks)/(The total number of marks)} × 100

Calculation:

For statement l

⇒ The required % = {(2400 - 2075)/2400} × 100 = 0.1354 × 100 = 13.54%

⇒ Hence, statement l is wrong

For statement ll

⇒ The required percentage = {(2400 - 2250)/2400} × 100 = 0.0625 × 100 = 6.25%

⇒ Hence, statement ll is correct

For statement lll

⇒ The average = (1850 + 2075 + 2800 + 2250 + 2400 + 1600)/6 = 12975/6 = 2162.5
