MP of mobile handset of Vivo and Oppo = Rs. 10000

Vivo offers two successive discounts of 15% and 20%

Oppo offers two successive discounts of 10% and 25%.

 

Calculation:

For Vivo,

After 1st discount the price becomes = 10000 × 85% = Rs. 8500

After 2nd discount the price becomes = 8500 × 80% Rs. 6800

For Oppo,

After 1st discount the price becomes = 10000 × 90% = Rs. 9000

After 2nd discount the price becomes = 9000 × 75% = Rs. 6750

∴ Oppo offers more discount of (6800 – 6750) = Rs. 50
