Calculation:

Let the red balls be R and blue balls be B

⇒ 1.75(2R + 5B) = 2R + 15B

⇒ 1.5R = 6.25B

⇒ 6R = 25B

⇒ R : B = 25 : 6

Hence, Blue ball will be in multiple of 6.

Additional Information

Do not confuse just because we got the Ratio and not the exact number of blue balls. As we have been asked about the number of blue balls from the given option, It will be 18 because it is the only option that is multiple of 6.
