Let’s put all together,

A finishes first, B second and C lastly.

B finishes 25 sec after A, C finishes 30 sec after B

C finishes after A by = 25 + 30 = 55sec

Total distance by which A wins from C = 275m

C will take = (55 × 1000)/275 = 200sec

 200sec = 180 sec + 20 sec = 3min 20sec

∴ A will take 3min 20sec - 55 sec = 2 min 25 sec
