When 17 is added to a 2-digits number, then its tens digit becomes 7 times of unit digit. Find the ratio of original number to the number obtained after reversing the digits of original number. Correct Answer 6 : 5

GIVEN:

When 17 is added to a 2-digits number, then its tens digit becomes 7 times of unit digit.

CALCULATION:

Since tens digit of number becomes 7 times of unit digit which means number should be 71.

Original number = 71 – 17 = 54

Number obtained after reversing the digits of number = 45

Required ratio = 54 ∶ 45

⇒ 6 ∶ 5

∴ The required ratio is 6 ∶ 5.
