Total number of students who appeared in examination from cities C and D = 84 + 96 =180

Number of students who failed in A = (4/9) × 54 = 24

Number of students who failed in B = (3/7) × 126 = 54

Number of students who failed in E = (5/11) × 132 =60

⇒ (24 + 54 + 60) = 138

The total number of students who appeared in the examination from cities C and D more than Total number of students who failed in cities A, B and E = 180 – 138 = 42

⇒ (42/138) × 100 = 30.43%
