Let the speed of A when he travels from office to home be x.

Given that, Distance = 24 km

Total time taken by A in whole journey = 45 - 15 = 30 minutes = 1/2 hr

Now,

∴ 24/x + 24/1.2x = 30/60

⇒ x = 88 kmph

∴ A’s speed when he travels from office to home is 88 kmph.
