Correct Answer Rs. 40000

GIVEN :

The commission paid to the working partner in a business is 10% of the total profit.

The salary of each working partner is Rs. 20000.

The remaining profit is shared equally among the four partners.

CALCULATION :

The commission paid to the working partner in a business is 10% of the total profit.

The salary of each working partner is Rs. 20000.

Then, 10% = 20000

⇒ 100% = 200000

The salary of 2 working partner = 20000 × 2 = 40000

The remaining profit = 200000 - 40000 = 160000

The remaining profit is shared equally among the four partners.

Then, the amount paid to each sleeping partner in the business = 160000/4 = 40000

∴ The amount paid to each sleeping partner in the business is Rs. 40000.
