Given:

Distance between Agra to Bhopal is 48 km with a speed of 4 km/hr.

Distance between Bhopal to Chennai is 54 km with a speed of 6 km/hr

Formula:

Average Speed = (Total Distance/Total Time)

Time = Distance/Speed

Calculation:

Total Distance to cover Agra to Bhopal and Bhopal to Chennai = 48 + 54 = 102 km

Time taken from Agra to Bhopal,

Time = 48/4 = 12 hrs

Time taken from Bhopal to Chennai,

Time = 54/6 = 9 hrs

Total Time = 12 + 9 = 21 hrs

Average Speed = (Total Distance/Total Time)

Average Speed = 102/21 km/hr

∴ The average speed of whole journey is 102/21 km/hr.
