Given:

Expenditure of the gardening of a rectangular park = Rs. 121600

Rate of gardening = Rs. 32/m2

Length of rectangle = Perimeter of circle – 100 m

Radius of circle = 28 m

Formula Used:

Perimeter of circle = 2πr

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

Calculation:

Perimeter of the circle = 2× 22/7 × 28

⇒ 176 m

Length of the rectangle = (176 – 100) cm

⇒ 76 m

Therefore, the area of the rectangle = 121600/32

⇒ 3800 sq.m

Suppose the breadth of the rectangle is b m.

⇒ 76 × b = 3800

⇒ b = 3800/76

⇒ b = 50 m

∴ The breadth of the rectangular park will be 50 m.
