If X + Y > P + Q and Y + P > X + Q, then it is definite that Correct Answer Y > Q
Given,
X + Y > P + Q and Y + P > X + Q.
Add both the statements,
(X + Y) + (Y + P) > (P + Q) + (X + Q)
→ X + 2Y + P > P + 2Q + X
→ 2Y > 2Q
→ Y > Q
Hence, Y > Q is true.
