If P = cot A cot B/(cot A + cot B) and Q = tan A tan B/(tan A + tan B), then find value of (P – Q): Correct Answer cot (A + B)
P = cot A cot B/(cot A + cot B)
Divided by cot A cot B
P = 1/(tan A + tan B)
Hence, P – Q = –
⇒ (1 - tan A tan B)/(tan A + tan B)
⇒ 1/tan(A + B)
⇒ cot (A + B)
