CALCULATIONS:

Assume two irrational number A = (3 + √2) and B = √2

Summation of Two Irrational number A + B = 3 + 2(√2) → irrational number    … (1)

Subtraction of Two Irrational number A – B = 3 + √2 – √2 = 3 → rational number   … (2)

If assuming another two irrational number C = √5 + √2 and D = √2 then,

Subtraction of two irrational number C – D = √5 + √2 – √2 = √5 → irrational number    …(3)

From results (1) , (2) , and (3) we can say that,

∴ Summation of the two Irrational number → Irrational numbers.

∴ Subtraction (Difference) of the Two Irrational number → Irrational or Rational numbers.
