Concept
If x, y and z are in AP, then 2y = x + z
If x, y and z are in GP, then y2 = xz
Calculation
According to the question a, b and c are in GP
⇒ b2 = ac
On taking log on both sides, we get
log(b2) = log(ac)
⇒ 2log b = log a + log c
Hence, log a, log b and log c are in AP.
