The R.L of the staff can be given as R.L = R.L of instrument station + H.I + v – r. the value of v can be calculated as v = k*s/2*sin2θ + c sin θ. On substitution we get, V = 100 * (2.892-1.926)/2* sin (2*2042ꞌ) + 0 V = 4.545 m. R.L of staff is given as R.L = 102.34 + 1.94 + 4.545 – 2.234 = 106.591 m.
