GIVEN :
Bus A running at 60 km/hr leaves Jammu for Delhi at 7 a.m.
Bus B running at 90 km/hr also leaves Jammu for Delhi at 11 a.m.
Bus C leaves Delhi for Jammu at 11 a.m.
Distance between Delhi and Jammu is 1260 km
CALCULATION :
Say, they meet after t hours.
⇒ 60 × (t + 4) = 90 × t
⇒ t = 8 hrs
In 8 hours distance travelled by Bus A and B = 90 × 8 = 720 km
Distance travelled by C = (1260 – 720) = 540 km
∴ Speed of Bus C = 540/8 = 67.5 km/hr
