In school 'B', the number of students appeared is 25% more than the students appeared from school A

Number of students qualified from school 'B' is 40% more than the Students qualified from School 'A'

Calculation:

Let the number of students appeared in school A be 100

Then, Number of students qualified in school A = 80

According to question,

Number of students appeared in School B = 25% more = 100 + 25 = 125

Number of students qualified in School B = 80 + 40% of 80 = 80 + 32 = 112

∴ Required percentage = (112/125) × 100 = 89.6%
