The hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle is 14 cm. What will be the area of the square with hypotenuse as the diagonal? Correct Answer <p>98 cm2</p>

Let the sides of the triangle be ‘m’ cm and ‘m’ cm.

From Pythagoras theorem -

⇒ m2 + (m)2 = 142,

⇒ 2m2 = 196

⇒ m2 = 196/2

⇒ m2 = 98

Now , area of the Square:

∴ m2 = 98 cm2
