Prashant walks at the speed of 3 m/min . He crosses a playground which is square in shape. The side of the playground is 10√2 m. If he crosses the playground diagonally, then how much time(in seconds) is taken by Prashant  to cross the playground?    Correct Answer 400 seconds

Given:

Speed of Prashant = 3 m/min

The side of playground = 10√2 m/s

Formula Used:

Diagonal of square = √2 x side of square

Distance = speed × time

Calculation:

  Diagonal = 10√2 × √2 = 20 m

Distance = speed × time

20 = 3 × time

time = 20/3 min

Time taken by Prashant in seconds = 20/3 × 60 = 400 seconds
