Given:
Speed of Ball at the time of striking = 108 mile/hr
Distance between Rishabh Pant and boundary = 105 m
Formula Used :
Distance = speed × time
x km/hr = 5/18 × x m/s
Calculation:
⇒ In km/hr , the speed of Ball = 108/2 = 54 km/hr
⇒ In m/s, the speed of ball = 5/18 × 54 = 15 m/s
⇒ Distance = speed × time
⇒ 105 = 15 × time
⇒ time = 7 sec
∴ Time taken by ball to reach the boundary is 7 seconds
