- When a number of two-port networks are connected in series, then the z-parameters gets added up
- When a number of two-port networks are connected in parallel, then the y-parameters gets added up
- When a number of two-port networks are connected in cascade, then the ABCD-parameters gets multiplied
- When a number of two-port networks are connected in series parallel, then the h-parameters gets added up
