In which modulation does the signal convert its analog information into a binary sequence, i.e., in 1s and 0s
In which modulation does the signal convert its analog information into a binary sequence, i.e., in 1s and 0s Correct Answer Pulse code modulation
Pulse code modulation is a technique to change an analog signal to digital data, i.e. in the form of 1's and 0's. A large bandwidth is required in PCM system.
A PCM encode contain three components:
1) The analog signal is sampled
2) The sampled signal is quantized
3) The quantized values are encoded as stream of bits

Notes:
- ASK, PSK and FSK are signaling schemes used to transmit binary sequences through free space. In these schemes, bit-by-bit transmission through free space occurs.
- In PSK (phase shift keying) binary 1 is represented with a carrier signal and binary O is represented with 180° phase shift of a carrier.
- In Frequency modulation, the frequency of the carrier is varied according to the amplitude of the message signal and the amplitude of the carrier remains constant.
