Five products, A, B, C, D and E are priced differently in a general store. 'A' is cheaper than 'C' but costlier than 'B'. 'E' is costlier than 'C' but cheaper than 'D'. Which product is the cheapest? Correct Answer B
According to given information,
- Arranging products from the costliest to the cheapest.
• 'A' is cheaper than 'C' but costlier than 'B'.
So, C > A > B
• 'E' is costlier than 'C' but cheaper than 'D'.
So, D > E > C
♦ Combining both sequences: D > E > C > A > B
Thus, clearly B is the cheapest.
Hence, 'option 4' is the correct answer.
