In the following question, two statements are numbered as A and B. On solving these statements, we get quantities A and B respectively. Solve both quantities and choose the correct option. Quantity A: Find the value of x in the following expression. 33.33% of 342 + 12.5% of 800 + x = 40% of 900 Quantity B: What will come in place of question mark (?) in the following question 35% of (32 × 8 ÷ 16 ÷ 4)% of 10000 + √36 = ?

In the following question, two statements are numbered as A and B. On solving these statements, we get quantities A and B respectively. Solve both quantities and choose the correct option. Quantity A: Find the value of x in the following expression. 33.33% of 342 + 12.5% of 800 + x = 40% of 900 Quantity B: What will come in place of question mark (?) in the following question 35% of (32 × 8 ÷ 16 ÷ 4)% of 10000 + √36 = ? Correct Answer Quantity A = Quantity B or No relation

Quantity A:

33.33% of 342 + 12.5% of 800 + x = 40% of 900

⇒ (1/3) × 342 + (1/8) of 800 + x = 360

⇒ 114 + 100 + x = 360

⇒ 214 + x = 360

⇒ x = 360 - 214

⇒ x = 146

Quantity B:

35% of (32 × 8 ÷ 16 ÷ 4)% of 10000 + √36

= 35% of 4% of 10000 + √36

= 0.35 × 0.04 × 10000 + 6 = 146

∴ Quantity A = Quantity B
