Let, Shailesh’s monthly salary = Rs. X

∴ Mehul’s monthly salary = Rs. 1.5X

∴ Prashant’s monthly salary = Rs. (1.5X × 7)/4 = 2.625X

⇒ X + 1.5X + 2.625X = 5.125X

According to problem,

⇒ 5.125X = 153750

⇒ X = 30000

∴ Prashant’s monthly salary,

⇒ 2.625X
