Considering statement II,

Total age of 10 players = 37.3 × 10 = 373 years

⇒ Age of captain = 418 - 373 = 45 years

Considering statements I and III,

Age of youngest player = Captain’s age - 11

Total age of 9 players = (35 × 3) + (38 × 3) + (40 × 3) = 339

Age of all 11 players = 2(Captain’s age) - 11 + 339

⇒ 418 - 328 = 2(Captain’s age)

⇒ Captain’s age = 90/2 = 45 years

∴ The question can be answered using either statement II or statements I and III
