Let the quantity of the two liquids A and B be 5x and 4x respectively.

According to the question

(5x)/(4x + 2) = 7/6

⇒ 30x = 28x + 14

⇒ 2x = 14

⇒ x = 7

∴ Quantity of liquid A in mixture = 7 × 5 = 35 liters
