Two statements and a few problems are given. Which of the following problems can be solved through these statements? Statement I: X is greater than 500. Statement II: Y is greater than 400. Problem 1: Is X – Y greater than zero? Problem 2: Is Y – X less than zero? Problem 3: What is the sum of X and Y?
Two statements and a few problems are given. Which of the following problems can be solved through these statements? Statement I: X is greater than 500. Statement II: Y is greater than 400. Problem 1: Is X – Y greater than zero? Problem 2: Is Y – X less than zero? Problem 3: What is the sum of X and Y? Correct Answer None of them can be solved
Let X = 600 and Y = 700, then X – Y = 600 – 700 = -100
Also, let X = 600 and Y = 500, then X – Y = 600 – 500 = 100
So, problem 1 cannot be answered as -ve and + ve both can be possible.
Similarly, problem 2 cannot be solved.
Since there is no specified value of X and Y, therefore sum cannot be found.
∴ Correct Answer is none of them can be solved.
